City Sharing. Trend Towards Awareness

The sharing economy has already influenced how we live, work, consume, and travel. PwC estimates that by 2025, the global sharing economy will exceed $335 billion. While we used to only talk about renting homes and cars, now the trends are for babysharing (swapping/selling/renting children’s belongings), foodsharing (a philosophy that allows the redistribution of food surplus to people in need. The movement originated after a report by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, stating that 1/3 of the food produced on the planet is destroyed), exchange of durable goods and clothing.

The most significant advantage of sharing technology is resource saving, which is especially important in the increasing ecological burden on the planet and the rising cost of living in many countries.
