Cloud Cities. Сhallenges of the Digital Era

The level of technology penetration in urban environments and management is an important indicator that many cities worldwide are trying to maximize. However, the introduction of technology cannot be an end in itself. A “smart city” should improve the quality of life of each citizen, create opportunities for self-realization, and ensure sustainable development. Interestingly, technologies expand the limits of the city – digital space creates new forms of cooperation both inside and outside the city.

  • How does introducing technology into urban governance change the very practice of administration and the daily life of cities?
  • How to ensure the human-centricity of the city in the era of technology?
  • How is the space of cooperation between cities expanding in the technological domain?
